A final success !

The Fences Marché 2008, on the 10th and 11th November, finished the year on an encouraging note. If the Monday reflected the ambient prudence of the market with 65% of the horses sold for an average price of 9'000 Euros, the quality carried the conviction of the buyers when on the Tuesday, close to 90% found new owners with an average price of more tahn 11'000 Euros...

At the end of the two days 132 of the 163 lots (81%) changed for an average price of 9'700 Euros, a little lower (by 4%) compared to 2007. 30% of the horses went to foreign countries, principally Spain, England and Belgium, but also Poland, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Holland and Italy.

The French clientele was made up of a growing of owner riders, who came to find a horse fot their own use, whilst benefitting from the guarantees and services offered by these sales.

The Fences Marché continues to confirm its place in the commercial side of the sport and punctuates this Autumn season of sales with a success.
